United Way Campaign Reaches 80%
|
|
Donations to our current campaign have reached $597,317, or eighty percent of our $750,000 goal. Cristal Global employees have the highest total donations to date with $47,662 in pledges. The employees of Grand Valley Schools have achieved the greatest increase in giving with a gain of $3,549 over last year. Plasticolors has the next largest increase at $2,810 above last year. Several employee campaigns that have not reported yet so the total will grow over the next few weeks. Support from local small businesses and retirees remains strong compared to last year. Thousands Support Campaign
|
|
Thousands of people have given their support to the 2009/2010 campaign so far. Donations exceed $400,000 and are expected to grow substantially over the next few weeks as more individual and corporate pledges are turned in. We have seen increased giving in the majority of employee campaigns that have been completed to date. This has been a very encouraging development and we are hopeful that this trend will continue.
